Jelf and A-Plan announce winners in the 2018 Local Business Charity Awards (Oxfordshire)
Jelf and A-Plan, sponsors of the 2018 Local Business Charity Awards (Oxfordshire), have announced this year’s winners. The awards, which recognise the support given by Oxfordshire businesses to the county’s local charities, revealed the winners at a finals event held at the Hill End Centre, Eynesham.
The theme for the evening was ‘The Best of Oxfordshire’, serving food and drink grown, bred and produced in the county. Local charity Trax, set up to support young people in Oxfordshire, provided the catering and Tap Social, a charity who train current offenders to brew craft beer, served their ‘criminally good’ beers. The event was attended by all finalists and invited guests, including Brian Buchan DL, Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire.

Winners of the Jelf and A-Plan awards will each win £1,000 that will be donated to the charity who nominated them. The winner of the individual award will win a weekend away to the value of £300.
In a joint statement from Jeremy Wilson, Managing Director South East, Jelf and Carl Shuker, CEO, A-Plan Holdings said,
