With offices and clients across the county, we know the importance of businesses supporting their local charities and have enjoyed reading about the fantastic efforts being made here in Berkshire. We congratulate you all as finalists and look forward to meeting you at the finals at SportsAble in October.’

Mike Owen, Managing Director – South, Jelf, said,

‘Jelf have been sponsoring the Local Business Charity Awards since 2014. We have followed them from Gloucestershire to North Yorkshire, Cumbria, Oxfordshire and now Berkshire. We are constantly impressed by the stories of altruism that we read in the nominations and it is great to see that Berkshire has its own stable of generous companies working hard to support their local charities too. We say this every year and it remains true today, reaching the finals alone is winning in our books and we hope it is in yours too. Congratulations to you all, we look forward to meeting you soon.’

The finals will be held on Thursday 17 October 2019 at SportsAble in Maidenhead. The event will be catered for by the charity’s own catering team, using food ‘Grown, Sown, Harvested and Reared’ in Berkshire, to reflect the finest tastes and flavours in the county.

Although nominations for the awards are now closed, charities and businesses may continue to list themselves on the free ‘Support A Local Charity’ page, which aims to match up businesses and charities in a skills and need swap. https://www.localbusinesscharityawards.co.uk/support-a-local-charity-Berkshire.html
